When do we become scared

Dear Daddy-

Just then, like right then, a big bee started flying around mummys head and my head. Mummy noticed that while she was flinching away from it, I was doing exactly the same thing so it led her to wonder, when do children become afraid of things and why? I'm thinking it was because it was making such a loud noise it was just a normal reaction but i wonder if this is right? Definitely something worth pondering.

Right now mummy and I are sitting have morning tea. I am drinking my milkas and having some carrot cake and hot-cross bun (Yummmoo) and mummy had some carrot cake with her cup of tea. You will never guess what we have been doing this morning!!! Mummy and I have been playing guitar. I have been using my new elmo guitar i got from the markets and mummy has been playing with hers. Don't worry about being rusty Daddy, mummy is worse. ;)

I just thought i'd give you the quick update of our morning so far as mummy just read me your wise words on the events of yesterdays blog (I am glad you like the new layout, i was thinking the other one wasn't a great reflection on who i was. If you look at the bottom there is a brief description of ME!)

I understand what you and mummy mean about not having milk before dinner, but what you both need to understand is that i just LOVE milk soooooo sooooo much, and sometimes i just want it NOW! :) Lucky you both know what is best for me.

Food for the tv

Tonight, looking at the characters on home and away i decided that they were all looking a little bit skinny so i decided to make them some food on my little white coaster plate and fed it to all the different people that came onto the screen. I also fed Mummy and Chino and then all the characters in 4 books i read tonight (dinosaur opposites, dinosaur shapes, sleepy monkeys and owl night)

I helped mummy cook dinner tonight by putting all the veggies she cut up and peeled into the pots, and all the scraps into the scrap bowl. After that i helped her set the table by putting all the forks at the seats. :) I can't wait to help mummy put the dishes away, she loves all my help (bit of a slave driver though!)

After we cooked dinner i wanted some milkers and mummy kept telling me no, trying to explain that we have to eat up our veggies and meat before we get to sit down and drink our night milks otherwise we would be to full to eat up our dinner. I got so angry at mummy that i stormed into the lounge room and sat on my couch and screamed "daddddddddaaaa". I wanted to go back to Daddys so that i could have some milk there.

Today my list of fun things included

• Gardening (how cool is playing in dirt and smooshing it all over your clothes?)
• I helped cook dinner
• i played with auntie ash, auntie Neil, Daddy, mummy
• i give lots of cuddles and kisses
• and i got sad because i am not feeling 100% and its hard to tell mummy that.

I had lots of sleeps because i am not feeling well but that is really good to help fit away the germs! i am sleeping soundly now after being really sad and then really happy around dinner time. I had a really lovely warm bubble bath which put me in good spirits for a little while.

Sleep Count - all night!!! again!!! yaya!

Can't think of anything else, sick heads don't work well late at night.

Sleep tight - tomorrow is Daddy Day and my lovely Auntie Cake is coming HOOOMEEEE. Yay!

Charli & her bike - the adventure!

You will never guess what has happened to me today, it is the most exciting news! Mummy brought me a bike for christmas, but she wouldn't let me take it out onto the road or down to the park untill i would wear my helmet. It is only in the last 3 days that i would let my mummy put my helmet on, and i would leave it on (it only took 3 months!) so today mummy took me down to the road and i got to ride my bike around :D:D:D:D:D:D and i just loved it so so much. Tomorrow we are taking it to the path at the beach to try it out there. My little legs are still a bit to short to peddle by myself, but not by too much. If i just grow them a little bit more i will be able to peddle myself. i am learning how to steer and practicing peddling most of the way around. Sometimes, mummy wants to steer one way and i want to go the other.

You will never guess what happened to Mummy today... while she was cutting up an avocado, she sliced her hand... not finger off but hand. It reminded us of the song daddy used to sing. I really hope next time i am at Daddy's he can play the guitar for me. Mummy is okay, didn't need an stitches, still has full use of her hand... hardly any blood. It was just a funny coincidence.

I helped mummy wash her car today, and then we pretended to go camping, we even had a little fire but i wasn't aloud to go near that.

Sleep count last night - ALL NIGHT!! HOORAH!!!! i woke up at 5.30 am so i've had two naps today which is unusual. Im still not feeling 100%

Wee count for today - 1!!!!! no poos, practice definitely makes perfects though :) Mummy is so proud.

Tonight while we were pretending to camp mummy was telling me not to touch something, so i turned to her and said "I said no, no mumma." I even pointed my finger at her and shock it... cheeky right? Luckily mummy can handle me being cheeky!

I've stopped saying Poppa too... it used to be one of my favourite words, now i wont say it at all... ever. Its like i wore it out from saying it to much so now i call Poppa, Nah nah!

My lovely Friday at little school

You will never guess who suprised as at little school today while we were sleeping.... Easter Bunny! Gwen said we weren't aloud to see him because he isn't supposed to be making deliveries until next week but he came to see some extra special people ... us! I got a facewasher bunny with an easter egg. And then we got to make some easter baskets that got some easter eggs in it from Gwen and emileigh. We did lots of singing and dancing today... and playing outside because the weather was so nice. I didn't want to go to little school today, i got so so so upset when mummy left me there, real tears and screaming. Normally mummy can just sit down with me for a minute and ill be fine but today i really didn't want her to go. Luckily i got some cuddles with Gwen and i enjoyed the rest of my day. I had a really big sleep on my stretcher of 2 and a half hours, and ate all my morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. When mummy was walking in to pick me up she walked past Brookey who told her daddy it was "charlottessss" i think she meant that it was charlottes mummy. :) Brooke is one of my best friends at daycare, like mummys best friend Auntie Brooke.

tonight i did 1 weee on the toilet. :D I am getting so good... such a clever girl mummy says when we do the wee dance and hi fives. I am so proud of my mummy tonight, she got a HD on her first assignment. :) She is very clever.

I have been getting really good at brushing my teeth, i open up big and wide for mummy now most of the time. I am going to have the most sparkly white teeth.

Dad was right, i am getting sick, or getting teeth... mummy isn't sure. But i am getting more clingy as the hours pass on, my nose is running and i've got the sneezes. Mummy is hoping for a good nights sleep tonight and that i will be okay to go to little school tomorrow as i am not aloud to if i am sick. Fingers crossed because there is no little school next week because of easter. I am snoring at the moment, i'm not sure that is a good sign?

Tonight at the dinner table i was headbutting mummies chest (i was on her knee after i'd finished my dinner) and lent far back to get some good momentum going and smacked the back of my head on the corner of mummy's bowl. It really hurt, i now have a big lump on the back of my head.

Avah came and played with me today, that was lots of fun. We played catch with my balls, and rode my bikes. I even let mummy put my helmet on me so if i keep that up mummy says i can take my bike to the park or the beach. Avah and i had fruit salad for lunch, i didn't eat much (mummy thinks its because im not feeling well. I've hardly eaten all day!) I keep chewing on my fingers and making a big dribbly mess so teeth is a big possibility too. Who knows :D

Mummy and i cooked Carrot Cake muffins today with cream cheese icing, yummo! And then i helped mummy cook dinner, and lunch. I am going to be a really good cook like mummy when i grow up. And then tonight i helped mummy re-make our beds because we washed our sheets today. I am such a great helper.

Today Mummy and i went to Brisbane to see Connor for his birthday (which was yesterday!) and to meet little baby Matthew. We had to rush to get ready super quick this morning to start our big adventure for the day. I did have time to call my daddy and wish him luck for his assessment today at school, that made the start of my day a great one. once we were dressed and had breakfast it was off to find my purse and headband, Dr John (my dentist teddy) and get one our way.

Half way to brisbane mummy realised that she forgot to get my milk or milk cup... oh no! So she decided to stop at Woolworths when we saw one to buy some milk and a new milk cup. That was fine, we found some at woolworths, went to pay for them only for mummy to realise that she had left her purse in her uni bag... which was still at home!!! Oh no, silly mummy. Lucky she had packed some lunch for us, and had enough petrol to get home. uncle josh went and got me some milk when we got to their house.

We got to Auntie Sammy's after been on the road for 1 and a half hours, which Auntie Sammy told us it should only have taken us 45minutes. Mummy blames the gps, i hope i have more spatial skills then mummy does. Connor was asleep when we first got there so it was only Auntie Sammy and Uncle Josh. I was shy with them to start off with, but got over that quick enough and by the time Connor woke up it was full steam ahead from there. I was a bit bossy with him, and didn't understand that he is littler then me so doesn't understand what i do, but it was great to play with him. We gave each other kisses and cuddles.

Little Matthew is smaller then my dolly, but he was asleep the whole time we were at his house so i didn't get to give him any cuddles, but i was very fascinated with watching him in his crib. He was very cute and made mummy super clucky!!

We had a good trip home then, with mummy and i doing lots of singing and dancing. I didn't have much sleep so i had to have a nap when we got home (which i didn't do.. i tricked mummy!) When Nahnah got home from work and i went to meet her at the car i tripped over my own feet and did a huge flip and i know have a huge graze down the side of my face. I was very brave, but it did hurt very much.

All clean now, had a bath and brushed my teeth. Had some milks and now it is time for bed... sleep tight everyone, this little girl is very tired from her big adventures with mummy today :)

This morning i woke up at Daddys & tonight i go to sleep at Mummys, how lucky i am to have two homes with two parents who love me so much. :) I have spent the past two days with all my amazing "vagg" family which is just so special to me, i love them so much.

Tomorrow i am going to see my best buddy connor for his birthday (which is today) and i will also get to meet mummy's friend new little baby Matthew. We are very excited. :)

I am so energetic tonight, hyper. Very exciting to be back at mummys house :D I wouldn't eat my vedgies at dinner though, i only wanted to eat my rissole.

When we are all sitting down after dinner and i have finished my dinner, I walk around and ask everyone if i can get one or twwwwo books (everyone has to say two) and then i go over and pick two books to read before i go to bed. Tonight mummy and I read "Sleepy Monkeys" and "dinosaur opposites." They are my absolute favourites and no matter were mummy puts them i always pick them at night times.

Mummy spoke to Nana Vagg tonight who rang to tell her all about their vow renewal. I hope to see them very soon. I love all my family so much and i am so blessed!

Update on yesterday now that the internet is working!

Yesterday i spent a lovely day at Noosa North shore with my Auntie Brookey and Uncle Hickle. Mummy, Auntie Brookey and I went and had ice coffees first along the marina at Tewantin, where i got to eat lots and lots of super YUMMY cream. Mummy was going to get a baby chino for me but they were $1.50 so i got water instead. Lucky i had just had my milkas so i didn't really need anymore. After that, mummy, Auntie Brookey and I went back to her house in paradise and had lunch, watched movies and pigged out on popcorn. I had never tried popcorn before but goooosh it was so yummy. Especially the triple butter flavour auntie brookey made! I got to have a sleep in auntie brookey's bubbas cot for 2 hours, and then when uncle hickle came home from work we went and played with the cockatoo named Fred, and all the kangaroos and joeys. There were so many, and you could get really close to them and almost pat them. Uncle Hickle held me though just in case. It was such a lovely day, i love it at their house and can't wait for mummy and i to go back for a sleepover, and for auntie brookey to have the baby. I gave it lots of kisses, and slobbered on it :P Super loving kisses!

I am at Daddys right now, or maybe still at Auntie Neils for dinner with Pa and Shar and Daddy and Auntie Neil and Uncle Ry. :) Or i am sleeping. Lets hope i have a big sleep tonight because i didn't have very much last night. :)

My mummy has a shopping problem!

Mummy is not a very good shopper, or maybe she is to good! She spent to much money today on clothes for Connor and baby Matthew. She justified it because she doesn't get to shop for boys very often :P I think she just has a problem.

I got to talk to my Daddy today :D We had a really good chat on the phone. I wanted to keep calling him after that but mummy said i had to let him do his assignment. I blew the phone lots of kisses after i hung up from daddy, saying that they were for him. And then every so often i would kiss the phone and say Dadda. I really miss him!

I went with mummy to visit Auntie Ashy today, and their friend mellissa. That was nice, i met Mellissa little puppy Charlie who was very small and playful! She had another dog too... he was very BIG!

All tucked out in bed now. It was just mummy and I here tonight... so nice to have some peace and quiet! Mummy cooked me the yummiest Salmon Pasta tonight. I ate it all up AND licked the bowl. :) mummy is the best cook.

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow!

Yesterday I woke up and i was in the saddest mood. i didn't want to do anything but hug mummy all the time. That made going to little school a very interesting exercise but my day ended up being really fun.

I played a lot of William and Chelsea yesterday, as well as Brooke and Xavier. We had heaps of kids at little school, about 10 including me. We did a lot of dancing and playing outside making the most of the beautiful sunny day. I had a huge sleep, from 11.45 til 2. Mummy has decided she is only going to take my stretcher camping, get me ready for when i get into my big bed in August :D

I didn't have a very good sleep last night :( and i have been a little bit sick this morning. I seem to be feeling better at the moment, cruising around at the moment trying to stamp everything with my strawberry shortcake stamp!

I wanted to call Daddy before, pretending wasn't good enough. Each time mummy said that she had called and Daddy wasn't actually on the phone i would get mad at mummy and say "no! Daddy." Even though it was only 8.30 mummy let me try for real (although daddy was probably still asleep.) but daddys phone must be turned off because it didn't connect :( I was sad.

That is enough for now, mummy and I are getting ready to go shopping. Will report on the rest of my adventures later :D!

LITTLE SCHOOL

I am at little school right now (and sneaking to update my blog)

When we got there this morning Xavier and Brooke saw mummy and I signing in and they started yelling out to me to come and play... i was still sad to leave mummy though but i now am really looking forward to playing with my friends all day!

Emily told me that she saw Daddy at work on Tuesday :)

Avah!

Today i had such a lovely surprise... i saw my beautiful cousin Avah and we played and played and played and pllllaaayyyyeeed.

Rewind back to the start of the day.

This morning mummy let me eat grapes and eggs for breakfast. Not together but it was such a super yummy breakfast. And then we went to nanny's for lunch and we had yummy pumpkin soup with poppy's bread!

And then this afternoon we went and saw my darling cousin who i haven't seen for a couple of months as her and Auntie Em are down from Wogga Wogga. We played on her cool bike, i pushed her and then she would push me. We played hide and seek, and shared our afternoon tea. We give each other lots of kisses and cuddles - it is so great having a cousin my age. I can't wait till they live in Toowoomba.

I was really sleepy tonight though because I only had about 30 minutes sleep today so i cried alot during bath and dinner but now i am very happily sleepy and recharging the batteries for little school tomorrow.

Studying today!

Today i studied... my crayons and scrapbook... and i helped mummy study.

And i helped mummy cook breakfast, lunch and dinner.

And i did some dancing.

And lots of playing. :)

Mummy had to do lots of uni work today so we stayed at home so there isn't much to report on.

I watched a video of Daddy playing guitar today :) I love my Daddy, he is so clever. When i saw it i got really excited and just kept saying "daddy, Daddy." and i just wanted to keep watching it but mum was a bully and only let me watch it 3 times!

HAHAHAHAHAHA

I have started doing the funniest thing.... i just laugh, loud, a lot, for no reason. It is kind of a pretend laugh. Nothing is really funny but I am just a really happy girl.

Before Mummy came home tonight i made poppa take me downstairs to look for her. I couldn't find her in her room so we waited, and waited and eventually i heard mummy's car coming down the street. I got so excited and waved and waved and waved, gave mummy a hug and told her all about my time with daddy (especially my 'two' new shoes!)

Mummy & I played and played. We did flips, and hide and seek, lots of tickling, dancing, reading, huggggggs.

I was very sleepy tonight. Daddy had tuckered me all out.

Sleeping now, i wonder what tomorrow will bring :)

Party animal Charli Ann

Oh what a night to have your dancing shoes on. If only you could have seen me go. I was such a little groover. I would dance, and then run to the other end of the hall and dance some more and then dance dance dance. I just kept going all night, i think i had more stamina then mummy. But i did get to a point where i was being a little bit naughty and didn't want to listen to mummy and i was just trying to follow the bigger kids (even though they were doing the wrong thing!). At one stage i tried to escape but luckily mummy was watching me and caught me before i got out of the door, that was when mummy knew it was time to go home! But it was awesome to play with my cousins that i don't see very often. There was a little girl there who was only born 4 days after me. Her name is Kiarah and we got along really well. I think all the socialising i do at day care is making me better at meeting new people. But it still did take me a little while to let go of mummy to go dance.

At the wine and food we had some 'wines' with some old friends of mummy's (Sylvie and her boyfriend, and some other friends). That was really nice, i even did some dancing there to the country musicians that were playing. I was very clingy to mummy though and only warmed up to everyone else just before i had to leave to get ready for tonight! I got given a nice yellow band though like the one mummy needed to get in.

Mummy took me up Mt Wooroolin and showed me one of the house Nahnah and Poppa built before they moved to the Sunshine Coast. I really like being here with mummy. I got to have mcdonalds nuggets and chippies for dinner, and i got a toy!

Time for sleeps for this party animal. :)

Super sleep girl tonight

I am so worn out tonight, i nearly feel asleep drinking my milk and watching H&A and i never do that! Such a big day at school playing.... although i wasn't as playful as i normal am. I was actually a bit quite today. I guess i just wasn't feeling very sociable. I am getting so good at walking with my school bag on, i love it. It makes me feel so grown up. And then when i put it in the car i make sure it sits next to mummy's school bag. We are both such big girls now. I didn't like being in the nursery room this afternoon, so all us toddlers got to move back into our room and watch some wiggles on tv. That is what we were doing when mummy came to pick me up and as soon as i saw mummy i cried. I was just so happy to see her and remembered how much i had missed her today. Being sleepy didn't help either.

I've been a little bit grumpy tonight, i think because i have been so sleepy. Off to Ktown for the weekend for the annual Wine & Food and Kayla & Ben's engagement party. It will be nice for mummy and i to have a bit of a break and see some of mummys friends and family (even though she still has to take some school work to do!)

Tea Parties with Nanny Bev

This morning mummy and I went and had morning tea with nanny bev. It was so exciting and i got to have some fresh banana muffins. Mummy was a bit worried i would be sad because Daddy wasn't there but i had a really lovely morning with nanny bev and I think we should definitely do it more often.

Mummy and I did a lot of practice of our reading and playing with my green ball. I am getting so good at throwing and almost catching it.

Today was such a lovely, lovely day. :)

Playing in the swamp.

This morning mummy and I took Chino to go to the hair dresses and i got to walk her in with her lead on. I was so confused when we left her there because when i take mummy to the hairdresser i stay with her the whole time so when mummy was walking out without Chino i kept saying "No mummy, Cheeeeeeeeeeen" and then spent the next 4 hours looking for Chino. We had to go to Nanny and poppy's to fix there dvd player and computer and the whole time we were there i kept checking to see if Chino was in mummys car.

I was falling asleep on the connection Rd on the drive home and mummy wanted to try and get me home and feed me lunch before i went to sleep so she was tickling my feet. I kept smiling at her and laughing and then i'd get really angry and tell her off for waking me up. mummy kept laughing at me!

This afternoon while mummy was making dinner for everyone i was being really naughty. First i got into my "swamp" aka sandpit and filled a bucket with sand and spread it through the back area and the dining room. Then while mummy thought i was playing and reading my books i had actually gotten into the nicko draw and was drawing all over my legs with nicko! lucky i didn't draw on anything else but mummy was not very happy with my new found artistic enjoyment!

I fell over three times today. Twice down the stairs and once of a chair. In the wars :D

Back home with mummy, or when she finally got home from school I was. I played in my sand pit while i was waiting for her to get home, or should i say WET pit. The rain has nearly filled my sand pit with water... again! So Poppa let me play in there with the water and everything. Messy business.

I was a bit grumpy tonight, i think i am still recovering from such a HUGE weekend. :) Relaxing week this week to recover.

Blogger back in business

And the blogging is back up and running, hoorah! I think mummy had done something wrong but she is not sure what she has done to make it go again!

I am not sure the day i left you last. The last couple of days have been crazy ones doing last minute planning for Nahnah and Poppas anniversary vow renewal. Stress stress! I hope i didn't inherit those genes!

Mummy and i made another cake the other day and i did lots of helping with that one. I got to put all the dry ingredients in and even got to hold the beaters while mummy helped a little bit. It was super yummy, a chocolate and cream cake! Yum Yum!

Today when mummy was looking at some photos of Ella's on facebook i kept seeing Daddy pop up. Every time i saw him i would say "dadda. Mumma tiisss dadda!" I would only say it though on the photos it was actually of daddy. I didn't want mummy to miss any. When there were ones that came up of a doggy (eg Ollie and his friends) i would say "ruff ruff".

I helped mummy was her hair tonight so she could show me how brave she was. That was fun, mummy was very brave and didn't cry even when i poked her in the eye with my soapy finger.

I really should head to bed now. I do thin i have lots more great stories but i can't think of them at the moment. Big day tomorrow, will add more soon.

Back with mummy cuddles

I have just spent the last two days with Daddy and they have been really lovely . I love spending days with my daddy. He is my hero.

Now i am back home with mummy. It is so lovely to be home again, I really miss mum when i am not here. I have just given her so many cuddles and kisses, i give her one nearly every 2 minutes i think. We got to share some yuuummmmyyy icecream and now i am all tucked up in bed. :)

I am missing my angel so incredibly much tonight. I am not feeling very well and wish i had my angel here to give me big cuddles.
