Big red moon

Mummy took me for an adventure tonight, and we were aloud to take chino. We had a bath after little school (were I did lots of dancing, learnt two new songs and played in the sand pit. I actually didn't want to come home today!) and then got on some nice warm clothes, packed up our picnic rug and hopped in the car. On the way mummy stopped for a treat and we got to get some Mcdonalds for dinner - i had 3 nuggets, some chippies and a mango nudie juice... yum yum i ate it all up too. We got a nice spot on the green grass in front of the beach, put down the picnic rug and ate our dinner. Mummy had a burger, i kept calling it mummas bugga. Chino was a really good girl. Mummy and i had lots of cuddles, and i did lots of running around and dancing. I kept asking mummy when the moon was coming out, and asking if the lights were the moon. Mummy was trying to teach me the difference between lights and moons, she said they were like pretend moons.

When the moon finally came up it was a really big red moon, i just kept starring at it saying 'hello moon'. All the kids that were down there thought it was really great too. Not long after the moon came up mummy decided it was getting a bit chilly and it was time for us to head home, get some milkas and go to bed. I got to curl up with mummy in her big bed to drink my milka and now i am snoozing in my bed.

I had a really lovely night. It was perfect.

Back to school with my friends

Today is a good day. I am finally back to school playing with my friends - and they were all there. Brookie, Chelsea, Xavier, William & Rose. I woke up this morning and gave mummy the biggest cuddles. I call her now to wake her up, standing up in my cot going 'mummmmy, mummmmy, mummmma.' after a while she will finally say 'Yes Charlotte.' it always takes her a while, she isn't as happy as me first thing in the morning so i give her happy hug to spread my energy. We watched a bit of tv and then went up stairs to get ready for school.

I ate up all my toast, and then half of mummys. I put on my pretty pink and orange winnie the pooh dress, my pink school shoes, got my bag & my ted (mummy had to help, she was to far across the cot for me to grab her by my self). Mummy named my nappies and i picked some oranges to take for morning tea and then off we went. I got to meet the new daycare director this morning who told me that she also has a daughter named charlotte (charlie) who is 8. Once i got in my room there was only Gwen and William in there so mummy and i went to find my friends who were outside playing with the water tub (this was after i helped mumma put away my bag, ted, nappies and morning tea). I was happy to say tata to mummy when i saw my friends.

Tonight mummy is taking me to the beach to have a special treat of mcdonalds and watch the big moon rise, i am so excited.

The best ANZAC baker around (except mummy ofcourse)

Okay, lets start with yesterday. I couldn't write on my blog because i'd done some baking of ANZAC biscuits with mummy and it was a surprise for my daddy. I was aloud to put in all the dry ingredients but mummy had to do the hot stuff, and then i got to do all the stirring. I have been practicing my stirring for the last few weeks, but the special thing i got to do this week was roll my own biscuits, put them on my own special tray and then squash them down. When they were cooked mummy asked who i would like to give them to and i said Daddy, so i had to wait till today to give them to him.

Yesterday morning mummy & I took chino for a walk to the post office. I got to walk chino the whole way, she was a really good girl. We came across a lady who was walking two really big dogs, they were bigger then me. Chino was scared of them so we didn't talk to them for very long. I fell over once, but i was okay, brushed off my knees and kept going. I chatted to mummy the whole way there & back. I love going on adventures

I didn't have a very big afternoon sleep yesterday, even after my really big walk so i was very grumpy yesterday afternoon and was put to bed early last night.

Today - first thing (actually forth, first i woke up, second i got up, third i gave mummy a kiss) this morning that mummy and i did was build some sandcastles. I got to pull of the bucket and then i squashed them all. :)

mummy, nah and I took a trip down to the beach, walked down to the pizza shop and got some pizza to eat. It was really yummy! I then got to play on playground for ages! I was a bit naughty and pushed a little girl on the bridge and got in big trouble from mummy. I felt so bad, hopefully i wont do that agian.

I had a really huge 3 and a half hour sleep today, and then daddy came and had a big play with mummy and we had some milk (daddy had coffee) and cookies. Once he had left, we went to nanny's for dinner and now we are off snoozing in bed. off to little school tomorrow YAY! Can't wait as i didn't see my friends last week and i miss them all.

vegetable song

"Carrot, pumpkin, zucchini, broccoli, corn and potato" - these are the words i was saying tonight while helping mummy cook dinner. I helped by getting the vegetables out of the bags and then putting them into the pot once mummy had cut and peeled them.

I was so excited to get back to mummys, but as always i was sad to say tata to daddy for the week. I was pretending to call him tonight while i was playing with my bus, using the side of the bus as a phone.

I got to play with next doors new little teeny tiny puppy today, Boston. I wasn't as excited about it as mummy thought i would be though and didn't play with it very much. I was to busy playing with my kitty, Smooch.

I was a very eager little girl for bed tonight, i had slipped on my bus and landed on the floor and decided i wouldn't get up and started to fall asleep, so mummy asked if it was bed time. I got up straight away, went and brushed my teeth until they were sparkling white and then kissed everyone nighty night and down to bed i went. I had to get catologues that were in the mailbox and took them up to nahnah.

I saw the moon tonight, and tried to chase after it. I love the moon and mummy and I say goodnight to it every night and blow it kisses, because it is the same moon all the people that i love see and it helps watch over them when i cant.

TRAMPOLINE

Today i got a trampoline, a real trampoline. It is only a little baby one, but it is fantastic and I love it. The lady across the road was getting rid of it for free :D Yay! Mummy says good people get good things and she is so right.

Mummy was going to take me to see the trains today after my sleep, but i slept for 3 and a half hours and by the time i'd gotten up and ate my lunch the trains were finished, so we went down to the park instead. That was great fun - i played on the swing, slide and seasaw and did lots of building in the sand. There was lots of kids there and i find them very fascinating to watch. I got to take chino for a walk around the park, that was fun, but also very challenging.

Tonight we went and had dinner with Lisa, Michael, Alex and Sara. I had so much fun playing with them all, and i got given a tupperware bus with 7 little people which i just LOVE so much (two great gifts in one day). I got to play with their kitty, Bobby, and Puppies Satchel and Holly. I had them all in fits of laughter, i was just a star. Mummy took me home at 10pm, i was such a good girl all night and i think i could have partied longer if mummy could keep up.

I had two mozzies bite on my hand this morning when i woke up, as the morning went on the swelled and swelled and swelled, so mummy gave me some medi and put some cream on them. BUT this time instead of healing the kept swelling and swelling until my whole thumb and hand looked like just one blob of skin, and then it got a really huge blister on it. Mummy took me to see the lady at the chemist who said all i could do was have another lot of med and put cream on it, and if it still hadn't improved tomorrow go to the doctor to see if they will give me some stronger med for it. :( The blister has popped now so it looks like a nasty sore, big mess. Ill put up some pics, along with some of my new trampoline, and me eating all my yummy fruit salad and custard this morning.

Off to Daddy day tomorrow, and i get to see Nanny Bev and my favourite 'Auntie Cake' :D yay.

140! What a record number

I know i didn't write yesterday, but today will only be a quick one as well. :) I guess i am just to popular these days :P But i never forget my fans.

So yesterday, I was supposed to be going to little school to play with my friends, but mummy was weary about sending me because i had been so sick this week. I had a really restless night thursday night again as i had developed a nasty chesty cough, and woke up really early and wouldn't head back to sleep so mummy decided to keep me at home instead of risking me getting more sick, and make the most of being in my own bed to have a good sleep because i never sleep as well at little school (it worked to, i had a huge 3 and a half hour sleep!). I was aloud to go and have morning tea with Nanny though because we hadn't seen her for a long time, but apart from that i just had a big sleep, i was a bit grumpy all day, especially in the afternoon. when i woke up from my sleep i got a fright because mummy wasn't there anymore (i wasn't left at home alone silly, nahnah was with me :D) Mummy had to go to school while i was still sleeping and took way to long to get home. Last night i got to go and have 'taco night friday' with Zoe and Great Aunt and Cam, that was really great fun. :)

Today (after another way to early morning) we got off to a steaming start full of great fun cleaning. :) That is pretty much what we have done all day. We went and got some groceries very early this morning which i always love, it is great to be out and about. Poppa went a picked up mummy and my new couch today, it is not very pretty but it is really comfy. We can't wait to move into our own house ;) mummmy has my tent set up at the moment so that i can play in it and says that when we have our own house I can have it in my room all the time.

I helped mumma cook some macadamia and white chocolate slice today, it is really yummmmy! This afternoon, after my sleep, I woke up really really grumpy. Like, super dooper i think charli is possessed grumpy. Mummy thinks i had pain in my belly because i kept pointing to my belly and saying "owwww". I am okay now, but it was a trying night.

2 pillows mumma?

Tonight sitting down to read books i asked mummy if i could go and get two (normally this means two books) but when mummy said yes i went into my bedroom. Mummy was confused, but i was going to get some pillows so that nahnah could get nice and cozy on her chair.

Quick one tonight, today i helped mummy do her assignments... erm, or tried to help anyway. I keep telling everyone i love them, that makes mummys heart swell.

Daddy - do you still have my tea set? Mummy just realised it was missing, and i can't remember where i left it. Guess we haven't been missing tea very much.

I have been feeling much better today, i had big sleeps and have eaten SOOOOOO much to make up for yesterday i think.

Snot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The theme for today is definitely SNOT! Big, green, thick rivers of snot... charming right? Today was a long day, i really haven't very well all day.

I didn't sleep very well last night, but still woke up in a good mood this morning. Mummy had to go into the uni to get some books for her assignment, and when we got in there i was misbehaving quite a lot. I kept yelling, which mummy understood because i am to young to really understand the concept of libraries and being quite. But what mummy was not very happy about was the trying to climb the bookshelves, and pulling all the books down. Then when mummy would tell me off i would yell at her. It wasn't a very good trip, except that i got to see my dadda. I was so excited to see him and ran right across the library and gave him the biggest hug ever. :) I also got to meet one of Daddy's uni friends, and one of mummys. A lady asked me if i was a big girl and at uni already and i told her i was seeing my 'Dadda'.

Once we got home mummy tried to give me some lunch but i felt to sick to eat, so instead she gave me some panadol and milkas (tone?) after i threw a big tantrum. Mummy then understood that i'd probably been so out of character at uni because i was not feeling well. I had about an hour sleep and woke up in hysterics, and then was what my afternoon was like. I kept telling mummy that my nose was 'ouch'.

I took my bubba for a walk outside this afternoon and mummy was at the table working on her assignment, so i said 'bye' to her and waved. Mummy said bye to me, and bye to my bubba, so i took bubba out of the pram, held her up, and waved her arm at mummy so she could say tata to mummy as well.

Tonight, uncle ashley got some icecream but wouldn't let me have any, so i asked mummy if i could go get some, she said yes but she hadn't actually understood what i had said. So i went into the kitchen, and doing the right thing went in and got one of mummy's bowls out for icecream. Mummy got such a fright but thought i was very clever. She then let me share a tiny bit of icecream with her.

When mummy brought me down stairs tonight, while i was sleeping, i snored the whole way down the steps. I am still snoring now.

I AM AMAZINGGLY TALENTED AND BEAUTIFUL...

.... BECAUSE TONIGHT I SAID 'I LOVE YOU'.
and i didn't just say it once, or twice, or even three times.

I said it four times, because i knew what i was saying and i know what it means... and because i really do love you. :)

my poor fat lip

Firstly - apologies for the lack of blogging over the weekend. I couldn't get near the computer because poor mummy has spent the whole weekend studying like a beaver. So, by the time she was done of a night, i was either way to tired or snoozing already to get on here and write anything. Thankfully for you there aren't many stories to tell so this wont be a super long blog update.

Starting with Saturday, the weather was horribly rainy but we thought it was wonderful. Mumma and i just spent the day at home, we had lots of cuddle times, which is always a positive to a day. We played alot with my ball (i am practicing very hard with my throwing and catching) and did other fun indoor activities like drawing and dancing. I had a huge 3 and a half hour sleep, this wet weather makes me very snoozy.

When it was night time I tripped over my couch and put my tooth through my lip. It hurt so so much and it bled lots! It took me ages to calm down but eventually with the help of a nice cold washer the pain went away and i was okay. About an hour later i was in the kitchen with mummy and i tripped over again, and put my tooth through my lip AGAIN, in the same place. It also bled LOTS! and hurt LOTS! I now have a very swollen top half of my lip, it still looks very soar. And it kind of bruised above my lip.

This morning when i went outside before mummy had i noticed that the puppies had done a poo on the back patio. Because mummy was inside busily getting breakfast ready I went and got the dustpan and broom and swept up the 'yucky chino' and then went and got mummy to help me throw it out. It is kind of a gross story, but so cute, and i am so clever for knowing what to do all by myself.

I helped mummy do some washing, cleaning and sheet changing this morning. I really love to be able to help mummy with everything that she does. It is fun :)

When mummy made my afternoon tea I grabbed my plate and looked up at her and said "Outside?". Tonight, i dropped my plate on the ground and looked at mummy and said "get chino" I am getting so clever with my words, mummy gets so proud of me all the time. :)

Still sleeping all night like a good girl, lets see if i get up in time to go to Daddys in the morning. Nighty night all.

Big day at school today

I love Fridays. Do you want to know why? I wake up with a smile thinking of all the really fun times i get to have with my wonderful friends at little school. I woke up at 6.30 this morning because i knew that if we slept in till 8 mummy and i would run late for school.

Today at little school we did playing with playdough, singing & dancing. Brooke and I played on the slide lot during outside play and we had tomato and zucchini meatballs for lunch.

Right now i am having difficulties getting to sleep. Maybe in anticipation on what this weekend is going to bring. We were hoping to go to the park with my bike but it looks like it might be storming.

Noosa North Shore

Last night mummy and I got some southern style chicken tenders and some ceaser salad and took it to Auntie Brookies to cook some dinner. It was such a yummy dinner, but i was very clingy to mummy and even had to sit on her knee to eat dinner. I was so sleepy because i didn't have a very big nap yesterday and just needed to be in bed. I was such a good girl though and went to sleep straight away in my cot when mummy put me to bed, even though we were in a strange house and i slept right through till 8am! it was such a lovely sleep in for mummy and auntie brookie (who i call Dookie) This morning when we woke up there was lots of Kangaroos at Auntie Brookies house and after breakfast i got to go out side and watch them and play. When even came into the backyard! It was so beautiful, mummy and i didn't want to come home.

When we did get home though i got to play with all my own toys and that was really lovely. Poor mummy had such a terrible headache that after a while we went downstairs and had a 2 hour sleep even though id had a 30 min sleep on the way home. Poor mummy was feeling terribly i had to let her rest.

Tonight i keep making cups of teas for mummy, daddy and nah nah! Can't wait to give some to daddy next time i see him, but i might need to make fresh ones because these ones will be cold.

Little school tomorrow, i am very excited to go see my friends. :)

Happy birthday poppy

This morning when i woke up something really scary happened... my foot was stuck. I pulled and struggled and for some reason i just wouldn't come down from up in the sky. THe rude thing was i wasn't even ready to wake up, it was only 6am but not being able to move my leg gave me such a fright and i got terribly upset. It turns out my foot was stuck between two slats and mummy had to come and rescue me. Lucky mummy was there.

That started my morning off to an interesting start. I got to have cuddles with mumma in bed and she let me have a milka before breakfast, which doesn't happen very often anymore. It was a really nice treat. I just love lying in bed with mummy and playing with her hair. I even have my own special pillow to sit up in mummys bed. It is brown and it is shaped like a chair. Mummy changed my nappy and on my change table i found one of my purple bobbles. Mummy tied my hair up, but only put one in which really confused me. Normally i have my hair up in piggy tails when we use the bobbles so i searched for another one so mummy could put it in my hair as well. I like my routines very much and to change them confuses me alot. When i couldn't find another bobble i said 'oh well, all gone." and off we went upstairs.

Today is Poppys 81st birthday so after having breakfast we went up to visit him and give him his present. On our way there i was having so much fun dancing in the car to the really awesome music mummy was playing (no 90s this time). We started a game which was a little bit silly were mummy would say my name in a funny voice, and then i'd say mummy and laugh. we did that nearly down the whole connection road. It was really fun at the time.

We stayed at nanny's and poppy's maybe a bit longer then we should have because poppy put on a really old movie for us to watch called "first love" which was made in 1939... that was such a long time ago. I really liked the movie though and watched the whole thing intently, dancing with them when they danced, and laughing when it was funny. By the time we left i was really super tired and mummy had to keep me awake the whole trip so that i'd have a big sleep when i got home. Mummy sat me down to feed me some watermelon before i went to bed so i wouldn't be hungry. She put me in my high chair and went out to hang out the washing. When she came back i was asleep in my chair resting on my arm. I heard her come in and woke up suddenly, i had only just doozed off. Needless to say i was asleep again before mummy even put me in my cot.

We are going to have sleepovers with Auntie Brookey tonight to keep her company while Uncle Hickle is away. I am very excited to go over on the fairy, and see the Kangaroo's and Fred the Cockatoo. I might not get a chance to write again today, or tomorrow as we are off to the gold coast to pick up my new bed.

Charliface... mummy is missing you so much. I am watching the Elephants on TV and i just wish i could have some of your special miracle little girl cuddles. I think of you and that beautiful smile that lights up your face each time i hear the train. Did Daddy tell you that i hear the same ones?

Pick a party animal...

Well, what a weekend. It is hard work being popular you know? Saturday morning we had my bestest buddy Connor's first birthday party which was a 'beach' theme. So on went the Hawaiian skirts and sarongs, lathered on some sunscreen and off we went on our little adventure to Kippa Ring. It was really great to get to spend time with Connor, we played in a barrel of ice, and ate lots of yummy party food. I also saw another little Charlotte who mummy said i'd met before a year ago but i couldn't remember so i was a bit shy around her. Mummy asked if i'd like to play with her and i said 'no' and refused to get off my chair so mummy left me there to go and talk to other people. it didn't take me that long to get over my nerves after that and go and play with some kids. There was also some other little boys there, Tristan and Curtis who are the same age as Connor. And two little babies as well. Uncle Josh, Mummy and Auntie Sammy's friend Kerri took Connor and I down to have a swim, and the other Charlotte joined us in the pool as well. That was so much fun, its been a while since i've been swimming. After a while Daddy joined us at Auntie Sammy's... i got so excited to see him... mummy hadn't told me that he would be there. The drive home was very easy, i didn't have a sleep which mummy thought was a good thing because i'd sleep when we got home... that didn't quite happen. On the way home i did lots of singing with mummy. She pulled out some 90's music full of songs i've never heard before. Lucky no one could her us... mummy would have been SOOOO embarrassing. Should i tell her she can't sing very well ;)

Last night we had Nanny's 70th birthday party. That was so much fun, i had lots of my little cousins and friends around and had so much fun being a big girl and playing with them. Mummy did send me to bed a bit earlier then i would have liked, although it was 8pm. But Mummy was right and i was really sleepy, i didn't even move before i fell asleep.

Today we took my Uncle John and cousin Gemma to the airport... wait i am getting ahead of myself. Before then i got to have a swim with Gemma and Zoe! That was such a great fun untill i fell down a step because i wasn't watching what i was doing. That gave me a big fright and i didn't feel much like swimming after that. Lucky it was time to go to the airport anyway. I was very excited to be seeing all the really big planes... i loved watching them and was such a well behaved little girl (mummy has been so proud of me all weekend because i have just been such a little star!)

Off to sleep now, mummy is going to wake me up early to get ready to go to Daddys early. Its a problem now that i like to sleep in :)! Still not waking up at night, it is looking very promising.

Back to little school - seemed like forever since i was last there.

Today I slept in till 7.30. Oh my gosh said mummy when she saw the time. Of course, i slept in on a day that we actually had to be someone, but any sleep in is definitely a good one. So, we got up and had a lazy start to the day then. I ate all my toast and then a whole piece of Nah's. Yum yum -i really love peanut butter toast with the crusts off... i am a bit spoilt. After that we got dressed and got Sasha and Chino ready and mummy and I walked to school. I got to walk Sasha the whole way, and really didn't want to leave them when i had to go to school. It was only a small class today and by the time i got there it was time for morning tea so it didn't take me long to be excited and happily say tata to mumma and start my day. We did lots of singing and dancing, and we all got to paint a big picture to put on the wall. I got right in there and helped all the kids and had lots of fun. My nap today was a big 2 hour one. Mummy and Nahnah came and picked me up and then we went for a trip down to Mooloolaba to have some coffee before dinner. I got to build sandcastles with mumma, it was a really lovely way to end my day at school.

I am very sleepy though tonight - being at school definitely wears me out with all the playing that i do. Time for sleeps now. I thought i would post a pic from yesterday... mummy and i got inspired to clean our car. :)

I just remembered....

A really funny story that i have forgotten to tell you about...

on the first day off camping, mummy took me across to the toilet to do a wee but had forgotten to bring a clean nappy across with her. She said to me "Now, don't do wee's in your pants before mummy gets to put a new nappy on you." Mind you, the walk was only about 300metres and i HAD done a wee on the toilet, but you know mum... she likes to worry about these things. In the time it took to get back to the campsite mummy had forgotten about my nappy and let me go and play with Chino!! It was about 30 minutes later mummy was giving me a cuddle and could feel some wet on my pants. She assumed i was playing in Chinos water and went to growl at me when she suddenly remembered about my nappy - or lack there of. Woopsie mummy! She thought it was really funny, i had wee-d all over my pants and shoes.... hehe woops! Guess im not ready to have no nappies on yet!

nannys 70th birthday

Happy 70th Birthday to my beautiful great-Nanny!

we went out for lunch today in Buderim to celebrate, it was really lovely. I got to eat chippies and a burger... mmmhmmmm yummy for my tummy *insert tummy rubbing motions here* (this is my new thing!) It was really lovely to see Nanny and Poppy as i haven't seen them since they went to Melbourne 2 weeks ago. I missed them and gave them both lots of cuddles and kisses!

I had a full nights sleep again last night - that is a whole week of them (given that i slept all night for Daddy). Mummy is super excited about this. She knew i'd grow out of it one day but its just glad it has finally happened. I even slept in till 6.45. Today mummy and i went shopping starting to look for my birthday present (im not aloud to know what it is) but mummy was looking at lots of bed spreads and sheets so i think i might be getting a big girls bed. After shopping and before lunch i got to go to mummy's school for a little while. I was being such a show off to everyone we walked past or spoke too. I can't wait to go to big school like mummy and daddy.

When leaving home this morning i said to uncle ash "Seeyaaa later." I even then went back and said it to him again. I am absolutely loving my teaset and make everyone cups of teas all the time. I even make mummy chai lattes'.

Tomorrow i am going to see Nanny Bev at about 2 after my nap. I really hope my daddy will be there too so i can see him.

And the story begins

So here goes, the last 5 days at our camping adventure

Day 1 - leaving day. Mummy was so proud of herself because she managed to pack all of our camping gear into little Froggy. She did a very good job and only needed to try once before it all fit. Mind you, there was no way anyone else was fitting into our car - it was a good thing it was just mummy and I. While mum was doing that I was helping Nah pack there big car and climbing in and out of the 4wd - such a big girl! I got bitten 5 times by the mozzies while we were waiting, which made me quite upset as all my bites were clearing up. Mummy got concerned as to what was going to happen once we got to the camping grounds near the creek, she thought the mozzies would be on a rampage down there. Daddy came to visit to say "tata" and we had an imaginary tea party and then we jumped in the car and off we went. That was when the real adventures begun. On the way down (mummy was following Poppa and has learnt since that it is better to just find your own way there first, rather then follow someone else) poppa needed to stop to go to the toilet, and when we were leaving again mummy got stuck behind some traffic and lost which was poppa had went. Because they had come off the highway onto a service road mummy assumed that they just needed to get back onto the high way, which apparently they didn't (this was only because Poppa actually didn't know where he was going and it turned out mummy had gone the right way). Cutting a long story short, being lost on a very busy highway and trying to talk on the mobile phone which mummy hates to do is not a good idea. Anyway, mummy found her way to the camp ground, got very cross at Poppa because he kept trying to call her which was silly while mummy was trying to drive. When we got into Canungra mummy's phone has no reception and she didn't know which was the actual camping spot was so we just drove around for a long time. I think it was lucky the place we went was so beautiful because it calmed mummy down alot. I slept the whole time - luckily i think! We got there as the sun was setting so we had to hurry and put the tent up (which mummy did with unka munkas help. she is very clever at camping). That night i spent my first night on a big girl stretcher. It took me a little while to fall asleep but was very good after that. When mummy came in to go to bed she saw that i had fallen off (which was probably why i cried a little bit) which she thought was quite funny. That was the only time i fell off all weekend. Slept all night, woke up at 6!

Day2- We started the day lazy, lots of family to play with is a great thing and mummy had brought my bike and bubba so we did lots of playing. Auntie Sas, Paul, Callum and Zoe got here today so we helped them set up. I was so excited to see Zoe was spending some days camping wtih us as well. We helped them set up there tent and ate lunch. having a nap today was hard work and it took me almost an hour and a half to get to sleep. I was being a good girl and not crying or tryin to leave the tent, but i was definitely taking advantage of the fact i could get out of bed and i was getting into a lot of mischief. We went for a walk down to the creek today and i got to paddle my feet. I loved going for walks to the toilet to do wees, and mummy and i played lots of tiggy on the oval (or mummy chased me mainly). I even got to take Chino for lots of walks. Went to bed really easily tonight, and slept till 6 again.

Day 3- Today we went on adventures up to O'Reillys. O'Reillys is a national park up the top of a really really really big mountain. It took us an hour to drive the 30kms up there, and there was lots of twists and turns and one-lane traffic. It was very busy to which didn't make the drive any quicker as we had to stop for lots of traffic to get passed. Mummy drove and she did a very good job considering she had never driven up anything quite so difficult before. When we finally got up the top we went on a big bush walk through the trees, and up on a big treetop bridge. I loved bush walking and when it was safe mummy let me walk on my own. I was such a good girl too and kept to the path and moved to one side when there were people coming the other way. We saw lots of pretty birdies, but not much other wild life. It was so pretty up the mountain though, i've never seen anything quite like it. Mummy loved it alot and thinks she would like to move somewhere that pretty one day. SOmetthing for her to keep in mind,there was a lot of little schools up there. :)

Day 4 - Easter Bunny came to me last night and brought me a present! I was so glad he could find me as i was getting a bit concerned! Her gave me a pink teaset which i LOVE and some little eggs. Nahnah and Poppa also gave me a book and some little kinda surprise bunnies. I handed out all the easter eggs that we got for all the families, i was a cute little easter bunny mummy said. This morning we went for another bush walk up an equally as beautiful hill as yesterday. Today mummy fell even more in love as we went through lots of beautiful little villages, she recommends anyone go up there for a visit. I went for another bush walk today which mummy had to carry me most of the way (2km with a 12kg weight, mummies arm muscles are going to grow very big!) because there was lots of stones and tree roots sticking out. It was so pretty through the rain forest and we saw so many lovely old trees. I was very fascinated and had great fun. We then came home and had lunch, and afterwards went for a drive up Tamborine Mountain. We stopped at an amazing lookout where it looked like you could see the whole entire world from there, and then went for a walk around Tamborine and had some coffee. There was lots of fairy shops and i enjoyed cruising around the streets. We stopped at a couple of winery's on the way home. I got to call Daddy today which was really exciting as i hadn't spoken to him for a long time. I missed him lots, but his phone was off so i left him a couple of voicemails.

Day 5 - Home time. I woke up really early this morning, i was excited to be going home and going to see Daddy! It was a bit to early though and i got to have another snooze in mummys bed until 6 am when I got up and we had our last camping meal. After that i helped mummy pack up all our stuff, and put it all back into Froggy for the trip home. Again she got it all in in one go, and this time managed to leave enough room for uncle ashy to come home with us. We left before everyone else so that i could get to daddys quicker. I slept the whole way home and then mummy took me to Daddys, where i was very excited to get there. :)

And that was our amazing adventures, or what I can remember anyway. It was such a great time, and i was such a good girl. I was even very careful near the fire, and ate like a horse the whole time. i can't wait for my next adventure.
