Gardening... NO? Park.... NO?

Mummy said today we would go to the park and feed the duckies but we were just to busy to get there (or i slept to long, it depends on who you ask). We spent the morning baking after a nice 8 oclock sleep in. Mummy wasn't just pretending when she said i didn't have to go to little school. She really meant it, i spent the whole day with her. We backed some delicious buttercake muffins with chocolate icing. YUMMMO. Mummy let me put the dry ingredients in the bowl, and i got to help operate the beaters. I also got to like them at the end. My favourite part of baking by far! I kept reminding mummy to be careful of the oven because it is 'hot'. Lucky mummy can be careful.

Our house smelt beautiful for when Auntie Sas got here to visit for lunch. We had left over lasagna. It was just as yummy as yesterday. mmmhmmmm. I think because i help cook it helps it taste so good. I went to bed once aunt left and had a huge sleep from 12.30 until nearly 4!! Auntie Neil came while i was sleeping (she was supposed to come to feed the ducks with us). Her and mummy got to gossip and drink coffees, and when i got up we all enjoyed a yummy cupcake. Nearly as good as a trip to the park but not quite. Mum said it was to cold by then so we decided to plant the plants uncle matt brought us as our house warming present. So in the car we got and went for a drive to get my gardening gloves from daddys.

I was just very excited to see daddy and see the cool art he was doing on his computer. I got to have a quick play with daddy and some cuddles before it was time to go home and have a bath and help mummy cook dinner. We made YUMMY honey mustard chicken with lots of vegies. The best! Daddy dropped in very quickly so i got to have some more cuddles. It must have been my lucky day.

We have an appointment at the hair dresses tomorrow (or mummy does anyway) so i am looking forward to seeing Ros and helping her do mummys hair. Hopefully we will get some planting done tomorrow, and to the park. If i ask enough we will get there... right?

best lasagna ever!

My mummy is such a good cook. As a special home coming dinner (after so many nights at daddys) she made me lasagna, home made rosemary chippies and some green vegetables. It was super yummy (although i didn't eat it all because i'd had milk not long before coming home from daddys)

I have still been asking all night to go to the park. I seriously think i should be aloud to go to the park ALL the time, no limits with night and day or anything. I don't think that should be to much for mummy and daddy to do for me.

Mummy and i cleaned up the kitchen, and then read 7 different books. I am getting very good at saying colours, but i don't always remember which one is which. Baby steps mummy says, i will learn them all in good time. I don't think she wants me to grow up to fast.

We saw the moon rise tonight from our kitchen window. I think it is one of my favourite things about our new house - makes it all that more perfect when you have front row seats to the moon rising. Especially when it is around FULL moon time :)

Mummy has just tucked me into bed with teddy (X2) and bubba (X2). there is not very much room left in my bed, but we all keep each other warm. It is great to be back in my big bed, with nannys knitting. I really love it in here. :)

Sweetest of dreams to everyone. I know ill be dreaming of my adventures for tomorrow. Exciting times ahead (btw - mummy is letting me stay home from little school because she misses me to much. haha naughty mummy)

A quick update for adoring fans

Just to let everyone know i have spent the last (nearly) 4 days with my daddy. :) So that is why i have been so quite on the blog front. Daddy has been taking me to the park, alot of different parks (Nambour, Buderim & Coolum) and we spent Saturday with my beautiful family at Coolum. Yesterday mummy and zoe met us at the park and we all had lunch together. That was really nice. I have been continuing to do wees and poos on the toilet like the great little girl that i am. I am continuing to learn lots of amazing words and fun things to do.

Allaiyah comes to visit

Firstly - see the photo of me on my bed?? This is why i need my sleeping bag on, because i don't like to stay under the covers. Mummy moved me back under the covers last night, and then when she checked on me during the night i was in the exact same position. Lucky i didn't fall out of bed!

I did sleep in though - until 8. I really love my new bed and my own room. I am just thriving. Allaiyah and Auntie Brookie came to visit today so we spent the morning getting the house clean, doing washing and all those fun things. Auntie brookie brought some nuggets around for lunch. They were yummy and i ate them all up. Allaiyah has grown so much already. She is smiling and talking lots. I was shy to begin with but it wasn't long before i was bouncing around and showing off for auntie brookie. I was a bit over excited and was very loud which kept giving allaiyah a fright, but she was smiling at me so i think she liked it. We both had a really huge sleep which gave mummy and auntie brookie a chance to catch up.

After they left mummy and i went to nahnah and poppas for dinner and to visit chino. We had a very yummy dinner and lots of reading and cuddles time afterwards. On the way home we saw the moon - it is getting really big. One more sleep until the full moon. Mummy wont be with me to see it, but that is what is special about the moon because we can still both see it and think of each other. She is still a bit sad, daddy will have to do something special with me to celebrate the full moon.

Off to sleep now. Looking forward (very much) to going to the park tomorrow with daddy. Sweet dreams everyone

RIP Pepper

Yesterday was a sad day for our family... Auntie Sas, Callum and zoe had to send there puppy and best friend Pepper to puppy heaven because he was very sick. Mummy had sent me to little school (because it was a little school day) but her and zoe came and got me early so that i could make zoe feel a little bit better on such a sad day. We painted our face like pepper, and mummy brought us some ice creams. We then took Zoe back home and had a lovely roast with aunt and camma, and then came back home again.

Once we got home Ella was here - yay. She came to visit and brought me 2 dolls and a NYC teddy backpack. It was so much fun to play with ella, we built cubbies, read books, played with my bubbas and she even helped me when i fell out of my bed last night (because mummy didn't hear me!!)

Today we had some breakfast and did more playing with Ella and mummy. I gave bubba a bath and helped her go to the toilet (BTW - i pretty much am rocking out this toilet training thing, doing poos and wees in the toilet all the time) I showed Ella my park at mummy's house and had a swing and play in the sand pit, and made pretend food for mummy and ella out of stones.

I went and visited Chino and Poppa today (because mummy locked the keys in the house - oops!) I loved seeing them. I miss them lots

I can see the moon from my kitchen window. That is one of my favourites things about our new house. New moon soon - but it will rise during the day so no beach trip this month to watch it.

Tonight mummy and i had a yummy dinner which i ate all up and now daddy is coming to kiss me good night and ill be off to bed. Sweet dreams everyone. More adventures tomorrow.

New house adventures

Before reading this remember our new house is perfect, and what has happened is just coincidental timing.

Saturday Mummy and I had finished setting up the house and had a busy day full of our beautiful friends and family coming to visit and welcome us into our new perfect home. It was really lovely to see everyone and show off my big girls bed and brand new room - which is perfect and very pink. Saturday night mummy and i took a trip to nahnah's and poppas so that i could have a play with chino, have some yummy dinner and get the rest of my dresses to take back to my house - and my little school bag for Wednesday. Once we got home i was trying to help mummy juggle all the bags we had to take inside and was walking up the steps with my little school bag on my back when ALAS - i tripped up the nasty concreat step and smashed my face (right down near my right eye) where i now have a nasty cut and bruise. Well - its really hurt let me tell you and i cried and i cried and i screamed and i spewed. I was a mess, the step really did damage to me. Daddy came around to make sure i was okay and mummy and daddy decided the best place for me was the hospital to make sure that i didn't have a concussion (as i was definitely showing signs of it)

So off we went out into the cold to go to hospital. It was very busy and we had a very long wait. Luckily nanny bev was there to keep me company. I was such a good girl, and didn't cry or whinge once. I played with another little girl who was also waiting and built blocks and read stories. I even drew daddy some pictures. The doctor finally checked me out and said i should be okay but to monitor me for 24 hours and we went home to bed. It was 12.30 by this stage.

Sunday morning i was okay... just a little bit sleepy. Nahnah and Poppa came over and made mummy and i eggs Benedict for breakfast... YUM! I had a big afternoon sleep while mummy set up my own 'park' in my backyard... i love it. i have swings and a sand pit to play on EVERYDAY! when i woke up i got to have a play with camma and zoe. But i was a little bit off and had the shakes. Mummy gave me a bath and i got the shakes again. And then we had dinner and i got them again... and then i vomited... everywhere. So that was it, daddy came and off we went to the hospital again. Another big night waiting, but i was once a gain a very good girl. I vomited again at the hospital.. i wasn't very well. The nurse took my temperature and said i had a fever. i was 39. Mummy and dadddy brought me home again at 11.30 and put me to bed (after some corn crackers to put something back in my stomach). I had a good sleep then and i feel better today - just sleepy.

I am now at daddys playing with him. Hopefully he will take me to the park.

All moved in

and sleeping in my big girl bed. I fell asleep straight away, no tears and no tantrums. So far i haven't fallen out :) fingers crossed for a good night.

The beginning of a new life!

Today we started to move. My new bed is up but still doesn't have any covers on it, my drawers are there and my tent. Tomorrow mummy should finishing putting my room (and the rest of the house) together and we will get to spend our first night in our new home. I am very excited. I remember my bed from when mummy had brought it and got extremely excited when i saw it up. We started getting some groceries and other bits and pieces that we needed. That was fun and i was such a good girl even though i didn't really have enough sleep. I am going to daddys tomorrow so that mummy can finish getting set up. Daddy is going to take me to the park - i am so excited!

Mummy let me have a special treat for today at lunch - i got to have some nuggets from mcdonalds :) Yummmmmy. I didn't eat them all though because i was full on apricots and sultanas. Yum!

Toogoom Holiday update

Please forgive me, moving is crazy business and there hasn't been a lot of spare time spent near the internet. Also, i've been at Daddys and at little school today.

My days at Daddys were amazing (as always!). He took me to the park, twice, on tuesday which i had been looking forward to for days (my new favourite words are PARK and Tomorrow!) I was a little bit naughty this morning for mummy, i think because it has been such a big weekend and then i went to daddys and things are just a bit crazy at home at the moment - i sense these things you know. The ladies at daycare said i was a bit naughty there as well. I was very happy to see my friends though, but i didn't have a very big sleep so came home also grumpy and sooky. I have been sooking a lot tonight when i don't get my own way. Mummy is hoping this will settle down once we move and get back into a routine. All tucked up in bed now though, i am sure things will look much better after a full nights sleep in my bed.

Update on Toogoom holiday:

I loved being so close to the beach. Mummy and I went on lots of little walking adventures over the days we were there. One time uncle bill took me for a big walk onto the beach when the tide was out and i got to play in all the puddles. I fell over a couple of times and came back with very wet clothes. Luckily it wasn't very cold and mummy had spares. I didn't mind, i just wanted to swim.I can't wait till summer so that i can swim everyday. We played a lot of ping pong, i was getting good at fetching the balls and throwing them back onto the table. I was eager to learn the game.

Mummy took my bike and i got to ride it around and around the bottom floor of the house, it was great!! i hope mummy and my new house is that big. i don't think it will be though. We also played lots of hide and go seek, there were so many great hiding places in this big house we stayed at. Mummy would often find me hiding in the cupboard or walkinrobe.

Check out the super big shower that we got to use. I loved having showers in there and poking my belly into the water. i was such a good girl and made it easy for mummy to wash my hair while in the shower.


I learnt how to say pardon me very well, and how to point to my eye for I, my heart for love and at the person who i love to say 'i love you'. It was such a great couple of days away. I love holidays.

Safe and sound in Toogoom

So we have arrived safe and sound in Toogoom after a long drive in our squished up car!!! I think we have out grown one car - two families doesn't quite work. Luckily i slept most of the way (because i wouldn't have a nap after we got home from uni because i'd fallen asleep in the car.)

Rewinding - i went with mummy today to the bank for her appointment and sat there like such a good girl for the whole hour, then we went for a walk to the real estate and then we went into the uni to hand in mummys assignment and to have a quick cuddle and play with daddy. That was our day, we got home and mummy put me back to bed but i wouldn't go to sleep then.

Looking forward to playing at the beach today. the house we are staying at is a HUGE HUGE HUGE big house with so many rooms and places to get lost. We are right on the beach, it only takes a few steps to get there. I was playing ping pong before with auntie kerri, that was so much fun. When it was time for bed i helped mummy set up the beds and then i was such a good girl and laid down in my cot and went to sleep like an angel.

Art Show

Oh - and tonight mummy took me to her & Daddy's school to see an art exhibition from some of the students at uni. It was really fun (especially when daddy and i played outside) but there were so many pretty pictures up that i got to look at.

I look forward to going next year when daddy will have a piece in the art show.

Been a busy beaver

What a busy beaver i have been! i spent monday & Tuesday at daddys were I had lots of trips to the park, had jam sessions with daddy, went and had lunch with nanny bev and saw mummy at school. On wednesday i went to little school and played with all my friends! I had such a good day with them all, i love going on wednesday because there are so many other kids to play with. I made some new friends, but my old friends were there too. Last night we went out for dinner and i had tacos! What a fun night it was!!

Today though i was just exhausted. I had a 4 hours sleep during the day which didn't leave much time for anything else. I spent lots of time playing with Hara as she leaves tomorrow morning with uncle steven and auntie jas. Ill be really sad as i've loved having her here to play with.

Mummy and i are off on a holiday this weekend to the beach, it is going to be wonderful to relax. :) And then next week will be busy busy getting ready for the big move. Into our own house, with my own room and a big girls bed. It is very exciting.

GOANNAS!

We went for family adventures today. We pilled into two cars, nah and pas car with mummy and I, and uncle steven, auntie jas, sahara and uncle ashley in the other. We have decided to go for an adventure into the forest and do some 4wd time. We packed up a picnic lunch with sausages, onion and bread... yum. We drove for a long time, up beautiful mountains and around twisty bends.

Our first stop was a playground at Malany were i got to have a swing and a slide and stretch my little legs. We had some morning tea and kept going on our way. After a while and more big bends and mountain climbing (it was such a bumpy ride... i loved it) we stopped at the Charlie something park... i can't remember the last part of it but it is on one of the photos. Clearly we stopped here because it had a name like me. Mummy now doesn't think it was a good idea.

When we got there we saw a HUGE lizard, mummy said it was a goanna. It was a long way away up a big tree, that was fine. After a while when we were cooking our sausages we saw another one crossing the rode, and slowly it made its way to our table. Well, mummy was brave for about 5 minutes, it really didn't take long before she was quickly doing laps of the table trying to avoid this goanna. Of course, she had me with her... she was so scared. After a while (and after it was walking in between the legs of uncle ashley and steven) it went away.. i think it wanted our sausage. We ate lunch, and about an hour later while we were having our coffee the goanna came back again. We are not sure if it was the first one we saw or the second one... but sure enough this time mummy jumped on the table to get away from it. She really doens't like them - she didn't scream though. Poppa held me this time, and when the goanna came near us i growled at it like i was a monster to scare it away. It worked, they didn't bother us again.

We went for an adventure walk down to the water and then got on our way again. We went for another big drive, lots of bumps this time. After driving for about an hour we came across a HUGEEEEEEE tree that was lying across the road, we wouldn't get past it, or go over it. Can you see the photo of uncle ashley and i on it???? It was so big. We had to turn around and find another way home.

We saw lots of cows - i mooed at them. They really liked me. The whole way home i wanted to hold mummy's hand, and play with her hair. At one stage i coughed and said 'pardon me'. I have such good manners.

By the time we got home and had dinner i was a very sleepy girl and was a little bit naughty. So off to bed for me, having lots of sleep to get ready for daddys tomorrow. Yay!

Happy engagement uncle steven and auntie jas

Today was uncle steven and auntie jas engagement party so it was a full house from very early in the morning, getting ready for the big celebrations. I started the morning with a cuddle from hara in nahnah and poppas bed. I am being such a good cousin, playing with her and sharing my toys. There has been no fights yet and no tears.

I had such a big sleep - 4 hours!! Mummy put me down a little bit early so i could get a small sleep in before everyone got here for lunch, well that back fired a little bit when i was still asleep at 2. But i was a well energized little bunny when i got up and played and played with everyone, especially Zoe and Sahara.

It was dinner time when everyone left, so we all just had some left over bbq food and settled in for a quite night. I really missed daddy today - but i was very happy when i got to speak to him, and auntie cake, auntie neil and uncle matt on the same phone call. It was such a lovely surprise!!

hara hara hara... oma?

Hara is here! Hara is here!! Oh yeah, and uncle steven & auntie jas too. They have driven up from townsville on there way to Albury. Hara and i have just played all afternoon since i got home from little school. We have played with her ducky in the ball (i know, a ducky in a ball... can you believe it??!), we have played with my bubbas and prams, we have played with chino, chased each other around the house playing dinosaurs... i really love having my cousin here. AND i have been such a good girl sharing all my toys. But, as much fun as i was having i was definitely ready for bed by the time bed time rolled around... it was such a big day at little school. I am very excited to start on wednesdays. I wonder if i will meet any new friends?

We had a big day today at little school. We did lots of playing outside on the obstacle courses, on the bikes and on the swings/slides. As always i was a very good girl, happy to leave mummy when we got there and go and play with my friends. I had a big sleep and ate up all my food.

Big planes

I woke this morning (too early... 600am) with a bit of a sad heart. Today was the day to say goodbye to my Oma. You see, she lives a long way away, all the way down in cold victoria. We still had one day together, that made me a little bit more excited. Mummy explained that we will get to see oma at the same time santa comes... she says that will be here before we know it. Do you think she is right?

This morning i spent lots of time giving oma cuddles, and playing with her. it was to soon before we had to jump in the car and take her to the airport. The plane was delayed so we got to watch lots of little planes and helicopters land and take off. Again, time went to quickly and before i new it we were leaving and saying tada to oma... i miss her already. I did a wee on the toilet at the airport... my first public toilet experience at an airport. :)

Our afternoon was spent shopping, and then we dropped in to see nanny and poppy quickly. Once we got home it was a quick pack of my jimjams, and then off to see daddy for dinner. I got to have a really fun jam with mummy. I played daddy's guitar and mummy played the bongos/drums. We were really good :). After that, mummy and daddy gave me a bath and then we had some YUMMY tuna pasta that daddy made.

You should have seen daddys hair after i brushed it, i put in pretty clips while we were watching tv. All to soon it was time to head home and go to bed. Luckily i have little school tomorrow so i need lots of rest, otherwise i wouldn't have been so okay about leaving.

Off to dream land. the moon wasn't out yet so i think i might dream about it tonight :)

Jam sessssssion!

Mummy and i started the morning with a jam... wait lets rewind a second. I tried to start the morning off at 4.30am.... what???! That is what mummy said anyway, gave me a cuddle and put me back to bed. I had a bad cough though and it took me a little while to settle back into a sleep. It happened, eventually, and i slept till 7am. Then once we had gone upstairs, eaten breakfast etc etc, we had a jam session. I played the guitar, mummy played the xylophone. It was great - what a way to start the morning.

After this, mummy OMa and i went for a little adventure down to the shops for oma to get some last minute things before she heads home tomorrow (i am very sad about this). Shopping was fun, i was a very good girl and held onto Omas hand tight everywhere we went. Mummy was going to buy me a new book, but after much consideration i decided i didn't really want any of them. I am still reading through the ones that i have.

I had a huge snooze today - still not feeling 100%, and neither is mummy. I had fun tonight washing mummys hair in the bath and then brushing it and making it 'woo woo' (tying it up, making it look pretty)

The photos aren't very good from after i got up from my nap but you should have seen my hair!! i looked like i had put my finger into a power point... check it out... my hair was standing up in every direction and was sooooo frizzy. Thanks dad for giving me frizzy hair :)

I am changing my little school days to wednesday as of next week, instead of fridays, so mummy and daddy can both go to school too. Luckily my two best friend, brooke and xavier, will still be there on wednesdays.

I am excited to be going to see the big planes tomorrow, but will be a bit lost once oma has gone. Luckily it is only another day after that til uncle steven, auntie jas and sahara are here to see me. YAYAYAYAYYAYAAYA! So very excited.

See the photos of me lying on the trampoline? That is where i went when mummy told me it was nap time, i was most upset when she said i couldn't actually sleep here. It was so warm and comfy, but mummy was right when she said i wouldn't have stayed put and actually slept, so down to my cot i went. :)
