IMBIL!

I have not updated my blog for the last couple of days because mummy wouldn't let me take the computer camping (plus there was no reception at Imbil so it is probably a good thing). So, here we go....

Friday - Mummy, Nah and I took a trip down to Brisbane so that Nah could pick up my birthday present which was a beautiful rocking horse. I really like it... now. I wasn't so sure about it when it was next to me in the car and rocking as we were driving. I am not sure if i was more worried that it would rock onto me, or that it would hurt itself, but whatever the reason i was very unsure about. Nah tied it down so it couldn't rock anymore and that made me feel a little bit better. I got to have a ride on him though once we got it back to Nahs. I have called him "Nay!" because horses neigh. I love him now!

On our drive home from Brisbane we found this really amazing park near Zillmere that had so many adventure places. There was towers, and little baby monkey bars, so many slides and swings to choose from, a bouncy mat, stepping stones... just so much amazing play equipment. Mummy thinks it was the coolest park she has ever seen and i must say i have to agree. I could have spent hours there. Mummy says we can go back next time we are in brisbane. I can't wait!!

Friday afternoon it was time to get all packed up and head to camping at Imbil with Nah & Pa, Uncle Ash, Aunt, Camma and Zoe. I really love camping. I helped Mummy set up our tents, and our beds until she got one of the polls stuck and got a little bit frustrated because it wouldn't come out so i went and helped Nah. At Imbil there are so many hills covered in beautiful green grass for running up and down. Mummy and I did a lot of skipping, and we played football with the boys. We had a fire were we could toast marshmellows. There were so many duckies to see. This morning we got to go platypus watching and we saw SOOOO many. One came up really close to us so we could see it really good. I have never seen a platypus before and they were beautiful to watch. We did some fishing, and explored the town of Imbil to find a park (which we did YAY!) and had a look at some markets.

Yesterday I had my first trip in a canoe. It was yellow and Mummy, Poppa and I went for a trip up and down the creek. It was really lovely. I liked being out in the middle of the water, which was so calm and beautiful. We found a waterfall but didn't go down it. The water was SOOOO cold though, it would not have been nice to fall in. I will tell you all about my trip in the boat. I am still talking about it today.

It was nice to get home this afternoon, and to have a chance to ring my daddy who i hadn't been able to call while i was away. Mummy and I did some washing (i now can help her load the washing washing and hang out the washing), and did some puzzle practice. It is nice to be back with all my toys and i quickly pulled them all out finding which ones I wanted to play with the most. Auntie Pam and Uncle Dave came to visit for a tea before they head off again on their adventures. They wanted to see our new house.

Tonight I have asked mummy very nicely if i can sleep with her ducky, and lucky me she said yes. So tonight it is lucky me and lucky ducky snuggled up for sweet dreams.

Daddy day tomorrow, i am so excited.

Only three sleeps until i am two!! (but who's counting right?)
