What a perfect day :)

I think I saw nearly all my favourite people today.
Mummy (ofcourse!)
Daddy
Nahnah
Poppa
Uncle Ash
Chino
Nana Betty & Pop Don
Auntie Cake
Auntie Neil
Uncle Matt

....

well, there are a lot missing from that list but that is not a bad effort for one days work.

So, to start my day was a nice relaxing reading session with mummy. She tried to trick me into reading new books by changing the order of them but I knew better and got my favourite books from the bottom of the pile - naughty mummy! Once we got ready it was off to the voting station to start our busy day. It was such a hot, long wait in the sun but eventually we got to the front of the line and it was time to make our vote count! The man asked if i was voting and if i was 18. I told him honestly, 'no i am 2'. I was a bit frightened by all the people. Perhaps they were a bit crazier with election fever?

After voting we went for a 'quick' stop at Nahs to pick some Jasmine to take up to nanny bevs house. Well a quick stop turned into a long tea stop with lots of chatting. Nana Betty and Pop don called in while we were there so it was really good to see them. We had a good morning, until I decided it would be fun to play in dog wee. :| Not fun. Lucky i had only just put my feet in the puddle when mummy spotted me. Good thing though (there is always a silver lining) I got to dip my feet into the pool to wash them off. I can't wait till it is warmer and I can actually go swimming all the time. Watch out mum & dad, it will be a pool season this summer!

After this it was off to see my two beautiful and favourite auntie Catherine and Tenille. Hoorah! And what a surprise I got when Daddy was there as well. I was yelling out to him the whole way up the steps. 'daddy, daddy, daddy!' Auntie Cake, Auntie Neil and I read books and jumped on the trampoline. It was so much fun to spend time with them. Auntie Cake and I got to spend some extra special time together when mummy went out for lunch. That was really special, we haven't ever done that before.

Uncle Matt came and saw mummy and I at our house for afternoon tea. Yum! He brought with him a peacan danish! YUM YUM! We sat out the front and enjoyed our afternoon tea. I enjoyed showing him all my toys and pretending to go to the park, and then pretending to take teddy to the hospital. Poor teddy fell off the bike. When running into check teddy I tripped and landed on my zylaphone. That sure did hurt! All is okay, no blood, broken bones or bruises.

Mummy & I enjoyed a quite night and had left over thai for dinner. I really loved it and wanted to eat mummys too. We then curlled up on the couch and mummy put on a romantic movie for us both to watch. I loved it and was the most intrigued I have ever been watching tv. Another hopeless romantic, just like my mummy. Towards the end I fell asleep on mummys lap. What a perfect way to end the most perfect day.

Off to the park tomorrow. YAY!
